Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. It wasn't long before she moved to Texas. She embarked on a profession in physical therapy. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas before moving to Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles such as local independent films and global commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from finding out that she loved acting. She then moved to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role that she is most famous for was her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Her next role was on the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. This particular character earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she received the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. After two short episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory and is Italian through origin. Her family was conservative and religious one. Milano's professional career started at seven, as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Milano was among four girls chosen from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, including the American first adaptation musical of Jane Eyre.
